Keeper Chats

Chat with zookeepers about some of your favorite animals during weekend sessions. Learn how keepers care for the animals and help keep their daily routines lively with toys, foraging games, and habitat enrichment. Feel free to ask questions!

Meet a Docent Chats

Learn some fascinating animal facts from our Volunteer Educators! Chats are scheduled at different exhibits each Saturday and Sunday at 12:30pm and 2:30pm.

Highlight Tours

Join a Volunteer Educator on a free half hour tour of one exhibit area, such as Barn or Discovery Trail, on Saturday and Sunday. Tours leave from the Discovery Center at 1:30pm and return to the Sea Lion pool just in time for the 2:00pm feeding.

Docent Chat and Highlight Tour locations are posted at the gates each weekend and are free with zoo admission. All activities are subject to volunteer availability.
